Goa Tourism to Benefit with Egypt Conflict and Falling of Rupee against Dollar

Its good news for Goa Tourism this year. With the continuing conflict in Egypt and the fall of the rupee against dollar is going to boon for Goa tourism, according to Russian honorary consul in Goa, Victor Albaquerque.

The political turmoil in Egypt and the falling of rupee comparison to dollar is going to benefit the tourism industry of Goa and it would lure more tourists this season.
Egypt which is considered to be a winter heaven for lot of European tourists would look for an alternative this time as the conflict over the years have, highly affected tourism in Egypt. The chaos has made tourists to go with alternative choice and due to this; Goa is going to be a winter destination for most of the European tourist.
“Egypt receives heavy inflow of Russian and UK tourists. But with the turmoil over the years, they would switch to alternative destination and most probably most of the tourists would also consider Goa for holidays, “Said Albuquerque, whose hospitality empire in Goa caters to a huge chunk of Russian and other European charter tourists coming to Goa.
Russian and UK tourists give high priority to Egypt and are top of pyramid as far as half a million foreign arrivals look for Goa during the month of October to March, which is consider to be the prime season time.
He also add, the falling of the rupee again dollar to 61+ would also help the inflow of tourists to the state Goa as the foreign tourists can enjoy better benefit within their tourism buck.
“The rupee is also going to fall have a sharp fall by October and would reach to 65 or even 65+ by October, he said, “ looking forward with better foreign tourist arrival in Goa.
He also added, Srilanka which has finally put decades of civil war behind it, was emerging as a leading beach tourism competitor for beach tourism in Goa. After all, Srilanka is slowing emerging out as a competitor now.
Whatever is the situation, this year not just Goa, India tourism is going to see a certain percentage of hikes in the foreign tourists’ inflow. With the continuous fall of rupee against dollar would give them to enjoy added advantage and benefits within their said expenditure for holidays.
