India’s very own Vegas, Goa, lies in the South Western side of the Indian sub-continent. Inundated with the Arabian Sea, this state has its own supply of the delectable port wine, rich cashews, of course beaches, and it is currently trending as the most happening party spots in India with the major international music festivals happening and some set to make their way in here. Check out the other activities that one can look forward to while in Goa.



1. Trekking



Never thought of this know? Taking Goa as a mere party destination is a grave mistake that most of the people make, for Goa has a thrilling terrain that makes up for perfect trekking circuits. The most sought after is the trek to the Dudhsagar Falls with exhilarating views, and the with the trek ending in at the mystical falls, this one will sure shot amp up the whole Goa feel. Some hotels in Goa even provide for trekking activities to their guests. Keep that in mind!



2. Dolphin Watching



How about watching the adorable beings pull of an act or two? Well, dolphin watching is a favourite amongst the kids since nothing can be more amusing than watching these lovely water beings hopping and diving, while one is in the centre of the sea on a boat. This activity takes place near Fort Aguada near Sinquerim Beach.



3. Camping



With unlimited options for food and drinks, and the constant sound of waves crashing the shore, camping can be as exciting as it sounds, especially in Goa. The tents at the camps have all the necessary amenities and the beach can easily satiate the need of the water sports enthusiasts who are out for camping. Budget travellers, this one’s a perfect bet!



4. ATV Biking



Now this is the real thrill. With the powerful ATV bikes zooming through the crusty sand, rugged slopes, and the dense jungle tracks, the ATV Biking experience can be a perfect offbeat Goa experience. Mind it, this is strictly not for kids under 14 years, and the ones who have some medical severity.



5. Water Sports



The signature Goan feel is to jet ski or parasail over the blue waters of the Arabian Sea. Other water sports include Banana Boat, diving, catamaran sailing, windsurfing, and the likes. Calangute and Palolem beaches provide for some thrilling water sports, with Calangute being a more cheaper one. Also, the Scuba Diving at the Grande Island is another breathtaking experience in Goa.



With so much offered on the platter, Goa is definitely not just about parties and beaches any more.
