GLSUN WDM-Wavelength Division Multiplexing
WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is to
combine a series of optical carrier signals at different wavelengths carrying
various information at the transmitter through the Multiplexer and couple them
to the same optical fiber for transmission. At the receiver end, the
optical signals are separated from each other by a Demultiplexer. The
simultaneous transmission of two or many optical signals of different
wavelengths in the same fiber is called Wavelength Division
Multiplexing (WDM)
