Clarified butter is normal butter that has been eliminated from milk protein casein, and milk sugar lactose. After boiling the butter, it is strained to remove the milk solids. On the other side, ghee making includes some of the basic methods for clarified butter, but it is cooked for a longer time, caramelizing the milk solids. It is brown in color and granular in texture due to the caramelization of the milk solids.

So this was the main difference between ghee and clarified butter. Both ghee clarified butter offer a high smoke point. It means it's suitable for frying, sauteing, baking, grilling, and any other high-temperature cooking. Use ghee to make your regular recipes more delicious and healthier.
