Getting your Shannie fix – There’s more you can Try
Shannie Ross released her new single Try and it has suddenly put her on everybody’s radar. We were surprised at how good she sounded which led us to research where she came from. We should have seen her coming – Shannie has a treasure trove of music scattered around the internet. The new single is what piqued our interest. It sounds completely fresh thanks to the amazing vocals overlaid on a very modern beat. The quality of her singing is almost anachronistic simply because these days most female singers don’t have amazing vocals. So once you’re done repeating Try for the hundredth time, here are some other sources for her music.
Live Performances
Shannie has performed live at many venues in Houston. Her stage presence is fantastic; a lot of people are going to be surprised when they listen to her perform Try at a show and see how professional she is. The professionalism and energy she is able to put in her live performances comes from experiences. YouTube is the best place to catch Shannie’s old performances. You’ll find many videos uploaded by the hosts of the show or even by attendees of the show who loved the way she sang. She is very young in these videos and the video titles and descriptions show the surprise of the poster at how such a young girl is singing so maturely.
Previous Songs
Try isn’t the first song Shannie has put out. We were delighted to see several other songs on her website. All the songs are fantastic but we would highly recommend Don’t Go, which you can find in the original music section of her website. It is a proper classic song and I’m sure we will see it in an album or with a video once Try blows up. Sadly you won’t be able to find many of these songs on YouTube so you’ll have to stick to the links available on Shannie’s website. Turn it up, The Break Up, Time Waster, and Hold You Down are all fantastic songs. It is also great to see how she has worked with different sounds over the years. You can also buy the songs through Amazon if you want to listen to them whenever you want (Which you will)
Social Media
You will easily be able to find Shannie over social media and you’ll be surprised at her fashion sense and image. Her Facebook page isn’t too active these days but we are sure that will change as Try is released. Her Twitter is full of interesting photos and Shannie just messing around. It is also the best way for fans to interact with Shannie right now. You can also hit her up on Instagram and see the photo shoots she has been doing for Try as well as some pictures she personally uploads.
You can find her on twitter @shannieross, on Instagram as she_shannie and on Facebook you just need to do a search for her name.
