Getting Back To The Gym With My Personal Trainer
by Neighborhood Trainers Finding a trainer is a personal choiceMost of this year has seen people around the world
battling the COVID-19 pandemic, and only now are we slowly seeing signs of
things beginning to go back to some semblance of normalcy, even though things are still going to be much
different, especially in gyms and fitness centers. Some of these facilities are
being allowed to reopen their doors in the Big Apple (pending mandated
inspections), so should you be making plans to get back to the gym with your
personal trainer soon?
Well, you probably don’t want to get too excited just yet. This is because
even though many New York City gyms are seeing their doors reopen, it is not
without numerous restrictions in place, some of which can completely hamper
personal training classes, limiting workouts to distanced and individual
routines.
What Are Your Options?
While you might not be able to get back into the gym
for personal training classes (especially if you do your classes in group
sessions), you’re not out of luck when it comes to working with your personal
trainer. Many NYC independent personal trainer gyms professionals are
still offering outdoor or online sessions, allowing you to choose how you would
like to do your personal training.
If you choose to work in outdoor sessions, you might
find a nice change of pace from what has effectively become the new normal of
doing everything online and from inside of your home. Sometimes, it is nice to
move the activity of working out to the outdoors, get some nice fresh air, and
take in the day. You also won’t have to worry about potential coronavirus
spread when you do your personal training outdoors, as everyone will be
effectively distanced given plenty of room to move about.
Many fitness enthusiasts will probably appreciate that
they can also continue to do online sessions with their personal trainers.
Until the COVID-19 pandemic has subsided entirely, there will be people who
simply feel more comfortable and safe at home, and this is where online
training really comes in handy. Anyone can continue to work with their personal
trainer using the power of the internet.
