SharePoint server offers great features to keep its users happy, but at times the users may have to face some serious issues related to the data if it has low RAM of hard disk space. In this case, it will close the functionalities so that important data can fit into the available space.

It will also cache less in the web app pools and recycle more. This action of less caching and more recycling often result in degraded performance and also causes troubles for the SharePoint end users.

Use Of Improper or Incorrect Urls:

SharePoint and Microsoft IIS may face communication problems and in case you make changes to the web app, then SharePoint development doesn’t inform the ISS about it.

Usually SharePoint development admins give their web apps urls that are short to avoid extra typing. But web apps need a fully qualified URL and such short urls usually fail to route across the internet and this may at times cause serious problems.  So avoid using incorrect or short URLs for better functionality.

Incorrect Use of Virtualization:

In case you are using virtualization, ensure that you are using it smartly and also correctly, because at times improper virtualization may lead to serious issues in the SharePoint server.

This also leads to mistakes by the administrators at a high level. In case you are using visualized SQL server, then at times the virtualization can start over-committing the host through CPU, hard disk space and RAM.

Such an action can reduce the performance of the SQL server and also the SharePoint server.
