Royal Enfield is one of the best-selling motorbike manufacturers in India and for decades, the brand has been the only manufacturer providing motorbikes in the 350-500cc range at a decent rate. Once again, Royal Enfield is about to come up with 2020 Classic 350 motorcycle.

The 2020 RE Classic 350 has been spied testing one more time. Last time, the shots provided us with a glimpse of the different touring add-ons it is likely to come up with. But this time, we came to know more about its features and specifications that will surely make you feel excited.

However, this time, detailed pictures of the engine system have surfaced on the digital platforms. The most remarkable design factor of the engine is that the gearbox casing appears oddly similar to the one you have seen on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. And this hints at the chance that the motor can be provided with the 6-speed transmission like its 650cc cousin. Well, the current generation 5-speed transmission is not popular for its excellence and the engine is not at all touring friendly at the same time.  The new motor and a 6-speeder will definitely go the extra mile to make the bike a better tourer.

While this time the exhaust won’t come up with an oxygen sensor, meaning that the new motorcycle won’t feature fuel injection that was expected previously. As this is a 2020 model, it complies with BS6 emission norms. Not to mention, Royal Enfield has already figured out a unique technique to meet the new rules without requiring a fuel injector. Interestingly, the head of the engine looks to be different that hints at the possibility the new engine can have a shift of over 350cc. Subsequently, expect the torque figures and power to go up as well. The current-generation 346cc engine makes 28Nm and 20PS. Even the exhaust routing is a bit different from how actually it was the last time.

Also, the brake lever has been relocated over the silencer for better ground clearance. While the twin-horn system has been swapped with a single unit, the single downtube frame again has been replaced for a double-cradle unit for accommodating the new motor. Other smaller yet significant design details include a flatter and redesigned footpeg cushions, a split seat configuration right under the seat of the rider and a halogen headlamp. A new instrument cluster can come up with a digital inset for trip meter, odometer details, and fuel level. This bike also uses disc brakes with dual-channel ABS at either end. We expect Royal Enfield to introduce the 2020 Classic 350 next year. Most likely to be priced between 1.7-1.8 lakh, it would compete against the Jawa Forty-Two and the Jawa.

We know that after reading this post, you have got excited, isn’t it? So, if you want to get more updates on Royal Enfield 2020 Classic 350 or want to buy top-class compatible accessories and spare parts for your Royal Enfield bike, then don’t forget to visit our site.
