Get Rid of MYSITES123.COM & Fix Redirect

 

 

Step 1. Stop MYSITES123.COM process in Task Maneger.

Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc or Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open Windows Task Manager, find related processes and click End process.

Step 2.Reset your web browser

(Before you reset your web browser, it would be better to back up your personal data like account usernames, passwords and bookmarks)

Google Chrome:

Click the Chrome menu (three wrench bar)– choose “Settings”–Scroll down to the end of the page to click “Show Advanced Settings”–and then Scroll down again to click “Reset Settings“.

Internet Explorer:

Click “Tool”–choose Internet Options–choose “advanced” tab–click “reset”–tick “Delete personal setting”–click “reset” to finish

Mozilla FireFox:

Click on the orange Firefox icon–choose Help –choose Troubleshooting information–Reset Firefox–Choose Reset Firefox again–Click “Finish”

Step 3. Disable any suspicious startup items that are made by infections from MYSITES123.COM

For Windows Xp: Click Start menu -> click Run -> type: msconfig in the Run box -> click Ok to open the System Configuration Utility -> Disable all possible startup items generated from MYSITES123.COM.

For Windows Vista or Windows7: click start menu->type msconfig in the search bar -> open System Configuration Utility -> Disable all possible startup items generated from MYSITES123.COM.

For windows 8

1) Press Ctrl +Alt+Delete and select Task Manager

2) When access Task Manager, click Startup tab.

3) Locate and disable suspicious startup item according to the directory.

Step 4. Open your Registry Editor and then find out the registry entries of MYSITES123.COM to remove them (note: new registry entries are still made every month so far):

Step 5. Restart your computer to check the effectiveness.
