Gelatin, CAS# 9000-70-8, is a mixture of peptides and proteins manufactured through animal tissue extraction, available as Yellow or yellowish granular. Gelatin is widely used as food thickeners. It is widely accepted as safe food thickener in many countries.

General Side Effects

Gelatin can cause an unpleasant taste, sensation of heaviness in the stomach, bloating, heartburn, and belching.

Suggested Dosage

As Gelatin is widely known as safe, there is no limit on dosage of intake. However, we still recommend consumers to consult professionals before using large quantity of Gelatin for long period.
