If you're bored and want to annoy your friends or some strangers, then making prank calls may be the activity you're looking for. Many of us have fond memories from middle school of making prank phone calls. Children often have a devilish side that urges them to make funny prank calls to neighbors or friends and disturb them in the middle of the night. If your victim is a man you can call him and tell that you're calling from the Immigration Department at the nearest major airport. Tell your victim that his new wife has just arrived from Bangkok and ask when he is planning to come get her.

Here's another prank call idea that will only work on a man. Call up your victim and tell him that you're Jane's father. Tell the man that now that your daughter turned up pregnant, you want to know when exactly he's planning on marrying the poor young lady.

Everyone hates getting a phone call from a telemarketer because they usually call in the middle of dinner or a favorite television show. Be prepared to turn the tables next time a telemarketer calls you and ask for their full name. Then ask how to spell it and ask for their home phone number. Inform them that you will call them back and when they protest that you can't call them home, tell them they can't call you at home either, and then hang up.

Call up your victim and tell that you're calling from the US Department of Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Ask your victim if they are experiencing any weird symptoms and when they ask "why", inform them that a former sexual partner has been diagnosed with a deadly virus and now all of his/her partners need to be tested.

Call up your victim, inform that you are Bob from Pizza Hut and that you're calling them because their credit card was declined. Ask your victim to come down to the store to make other payment arrangements. When they protest that they don't know what you're talking about, inform them that ten deluxe combination pizzas were delivered to your home, and now they owe you $150 plus tax.

This one is a classic prank call idea. Call up your victim and pretend that he/she is the one who called you. Ask for their name and say that you will hang up if he/she does not tell you his/her name. If your victim argues that you called him/her, counter argue by accusing him/her of calling you first. Call up your victim again and inform him/her that you're really annoyed because he/she called you again. Threaten to call the cops if they call you again and then hang up.

Keep in mind that making prank calls may get you in trouble with the law and be aware that you may offend the person at the other and of the line. In many countries, making prank calls to emergency services is considered a criminal offense. Prank calls are quite common and can be really fun but only when done in limit.
