Penile Frenulectomy a surgical procedure where the frenulum is cut and removed from the head of the penis.

This is a very simple procedure that can be done under local anaesthesia and only takes 20 to 30 minutes.

 

After cutting the frenulum, the wound will be stitched together. Stitches will be removed 1 week later.

 

The wound normally heals within 1 week. Patients are advised not to engage in sexual activity for 1 month to maximize healing.

 

You should not cause tight, torn, sensitive or broken frenulum breve to cause you distress.

Frenulectomy is simple and fast. Most patients recover quite quickly without any complications.
