Fortnite Crafting Guide to Get the Best Weapons

by Shruti Kumari Gaming Advisor
Fortnite has introduced the most meta-changing mechanics in its season 6. You can acquire weapons in Fortnite by looting: chest loot, floor-loot, supply drops, and enemy loot.

Fortnite season 6 has introduced a new way to loot and you can upgrade it into the kind of weapon you want.

Update 16 in Fortnite has added a new crafting system along with the new resources and also added new types of weapons. You can be overwhelmed with this new update as it has all new options and a variety of weapons.

If you play these games on your mobile for long hours, you must have noticed your phone getting hot after some time of play. For this, you must use a phone cooler for gaming that will keep your phone cool while you play.

In this post, you will come across everything you need to know about the crafting and resources in Fortnite season 6.

Basics of Fortnite Crafting

You can access the new crafting menu via your inventory tab. This menu will give you an overview of your resources and your weapons. It also shows which weapon you can craft at that moment.

The crafting system has two main core elements: 1) Makeshift weapons 2) Resources

With Makeshift weapons, you can mainly do floor loot and the most chest loot. In Makeshift, you can upgrade your weapon into the kind of weapon you want.

But, the Makeshift weapons are much weaker than any other weapons and you should give priority to the upgraded weapons in a chest.

Makeshift weapons can be made mechanical weapons if you use specific resources. For Example,

Makeshift Weapon + 4 Bones = Primal Weapon

Makeshift Weapon + 4 Mechanical Parts = Mechanical Weapon

These mechanical and primal forms of weapons are the final forms of weapons.

Fortnite Resources

The main resources of Fortnite are Mechanical parts and Bones, for which you will be looking.

It will be easy for you to find the mechanical parts but they can be a chore depending on where you land. You can obtain these parts only from vehicles and from certain NPCs.

The best way to find these parts is from the junkyard of dirty docks, but you might face some competition in getting these parts there.

Bones are concentrated in the central part of the map and are harder to find. You can get them by killing animals or you can also get these by breaking certain structures in the primal parts of the map.

Get the Best Bows through Fortnite Crafting

The snippers in the Fortnite season 6 are replaced by the bows and you will no longer find a sniper in season 6. Being an archer can be a bit hard in the beginning but practicing with different bows over time will make you a good archer.

In the case of bows, you can upgrade your primal or mechanical bows with some changes like

Mechanical Bow + 6 Grenades = Mechanical Explosive Bow

Mechanical Bow + 2 Shockwave Grenades = Mechanical Shockwave Bow

Primal Bow + (1 Gas Can) OR (1 Firefly Jar) = Primal Flame Bow

Primal Bow + (3 Stink Fish) OR (1 Stink Sac) = Primal Stink Bow

These bows will be the most fun parts of season 6. But remember to fully charge the bows before use if you want some specific effect to work in the game. Making these changes will not affect the damage output of the weapon.

If you play these games on your mobile then you must use a thumb sleeve for gaming which will enhance your aiming and overall performance in the game.

Out of these bows, the mechanical explosive bow has the most damage output and is useful if you are doing box fights. The stink bows on the other hand are pretty overpowered.

Conclusion:

We hope now you understood the new mechanics in season 6 better. You could feel a bit overwhelming at first while crafting, but it's very simple and easy to get used to.
