•Cinnamon - the health benefits of cinnamon are various, it helps in reducing blood sugar level and also eases inflammation. Adding on to these benefits, few animal studies and test-tube studies have shown that cinnamon may aid the blockage of the spread of cancer cells. A test-tube study discovered that the cinnamon extract has the potential to reduce the spread of cancer cells and can also induce the death of these cancer cells. As exhibited by one test-tube study, cinnamon essential oil suppresses the development of cancer cells in the head and neck and also reduces the size of the tumor to a significant level. Another animal study revealed that cinnamon extract causes the death of tumor cells and reduces the growth and spread of tumors. Every day try adding 2-4 grams of cinnamon to your diet. •Olive Oil - olive oil is well known for its health benefits. The oil is also included in the Mediterranean diet as one of the staples. Several studies also suggest that increasing the intake of olive oil can help to protect the body against cancer.
