Flavours Of Copenhagen

by Jhon Smith Blogger
The first thing you need to remember while visiting the city of Copenhagen is that it has got its own currency, Krone. It is a one of the Scandinavian cities and definitely not exactly cheap, but it is a place worth visiting. Keeping a few small points in mind you can actually turn the holiday to Copenhagen into a great fun and that too not excessively costly.

Explore the city on foot. There is no need to take a public transport every now and then when a city is literally built to be explored on foot. It will not take much to get from one end of the city to another on foot and you will have plenty of things to check out and enjoy while travelling through the city.

If you do not like walking to every place, get yourself a bike. It is easy to rent a bike in Copenhagen. There are plenty of options. It is one of the most popular means of travelling within the city, besides, of course, the subways. Having the high number of cyclists in the city has also made it one of the greenest cities in the world. The pollution is so low that if you are from one of those places where there are cars and buses and other petrol or diesel or gas run vehicles are in plenty, then you will actually feel like you are in heaven, breathing in the fresh air.

You should check out Christiania, the freetown of Copenhagen. It is actually expempted of all laws of Denmark. This might sound a little off, but this town was established by the idealists in 1970s and has been a place where people can live freely, without having to consider various restrictions put on by the state. It is a great place to visit. The place is completely autonomously run by those who live at the location. There are many places to have some of the finest cuisines and you will love speaking to the locals.

Copenhageners are one of the nicest people you will come across. They are lot fun and will find something amusing in every matter, be it you trying to speak Danish or even the fact that you have actually chosen to spend your holiday in Denmark. They also have a great respect for rules. You will find the people waiting patiently by the side of the road for the signal to turn green, even if you will not find a single traffic on road, before crossing.

Smørrebrød, if you have not had this while you are visiting Denmark, you have missed out one of the most popular native cuisines. It is a wonderful and curious sandwich where all the contents are open. It is basically an open sandwich which has three parts. The local restaurants are even trying different combinations and you will probably feel like having it every time you can while on the trip.

Copenhagen is a beautiful place nonetheless. There are many places to stay as well. The hotels in Copenhagen are pretty beautiful and perfect for any person. You will love the hospitality and the ambience. Bella Sky Comwell Hotel Copenhagen is one of the finest available options in the city. If you wish to avoid the last minute rush, get your booking done in advance online.
