• Hold CTRL-Shift at the same time on your keyboard and then press the ENTER button.

• A permission dialog box will generally appear on your Desktop screen.

• Click yes button.

• A black box will open.

• Type regedit on that box itself and then the press the ENTER button.

• In the Registry Editor, select the Error 87-related key that you specifically want to back up.

• Go to the respective File.

• Click on Export option.

• In the Save in list, choose the folder where you want to save the McAfee Antivirus software backup key.

• Give a proper name to the respective file.

• In the Export Range box, selected branch must be selected.

• Click on the option of saving.
