Fix the Garmin Error code- 00x80001x

Garmin Express does not start on Windows due to Garmin Error code 00x80001x

On some Windows computers, Garmin Express may not load after startup. If so, the following things can happen:

The message  Garmin Express does not work anymore  appears on the screen and getting message n Error code 00x80001x

The message  An unexpected error has occurred and Garmin Express must be closed  appears on the screen The program window of Garmin Express does not appear on the screen at all. No error message is displayed.

Solution to Fix the Garmin Error code 00x80001x

Delete the following folder:

Press the  Windows key  +  R  at the same time on the keyboard

Enter % localappdata% in the top line (display of the file path)   and press the ENTER key   on the keyboard

Right-click the Garmin_Ltd._or_its_subsid folder

Click on Delete in the context menu that now appears

If you are asked to confirm the deletion, please do so by   clicking Yes .

Install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2 (only applicable to Windows Vista, 7, and 8):

Follow the instructions on this page to download and install the program

After successfully completing the installation, restart your computer

After completing these steps, Garmin Express should start successfully.
