Fix: Outlook Issues While Setting up Custom Domain Email

2) When Domain Not Popup to Managed by GoDaddy

There are two significant reasons why Outlook appears an error during the setup process. First, when the GoDaddy service down and second, the user is not using default server name records or default NS domain. If you are sure that your GoDaddy service is running, then you need to work on the second reason.

Several users can use separate companies for hosting their website and Domain. For example, users use Linode, GoDaddy, DigitalOcean, and SiteGround, etc. to purchase Domain or buy hosting. While mapping your Domain to hosting, you have to enter the NS record provided by the companies. It is one of the basic reasons why Outlook previews this error.

You can also create DNS; it means the GoDaddy does not manage your name server. Here you need to use the default GoDaddy NS record.

3) When Domain Still Being Configured; And Take up to 24 Hours

Sometimes Outlook takes up to 24 hours to complete the DNS propagation. When the 24 hours are over, then you can automatically get the notification by message. Here is the solution to fix this issue.

It is only appearing when then people use the default GoDaddy name server to validate the user domain, and you can also change the DNS record after completing creating an email address.

4) Please Choose a Different Name, Sorry That Address Is Already in Use

This error message popup on the screen when you have personalized email with another provider, and you are using the same email to Outlook. For example, Think that you have a business email like contact@bussiness with GSuit, and you want to get a similar email address for Outlook.

In this matter, you need to first remove all the DNS records from GSuite. Now you can able to create a business email address with Outlook. If you find the same error when you are creating an email address. It is already assigned to Microsoft Account.

5) Not Able to Remove Personalized Email Address

The issue occurs when you have made any mistakes in spelling. Lots of people face the same error while trying to remove or delete a personalized email ID. It generally happens in the alias settings.
