You might think that QuickBooks' reports are not that complicated to grasp. All things considered, the app offers heaps of pre-formatted report templates which you can just click on and operate.

To perform more extensive customization, however, click on the Customize Report button in the top left. We are going to focus on filters, even though there are a lot of different options. Click on the Filters tab. Wherever the filter type is duplicated directly to the right of the box, click on the down arrow to view the options there. QuickBooks enables you to produce reports by selecting options down to the tiniest detail, like a dollar amount or an amount range.

Let us say that you wished to find a list of each of the credit card transactions for many remodel activity in the past fiscal quarter at which expenditures for more than100.00 were billed. You'd pick every filter and then open the list to select your desired item. Each filter which you select appears in the Place To pillar. Highlight one and click Remove Selected Filter to take it from this list.

Tip: If you think that you are going to want to make this report fairly often, click on the Memorize button near the top of the display. Give the report a name you will remember and also check the box next to Save in Memorized Report Group if you wish to achieve that.
