September 23, 2015 – Beginning January 1, 2017, every antibiotic that will be used for livestock will require a prescription, and this effectively eliminates the use of antibiotics in feed to stimulate growth. In line with this and other upcoming changes, the Farm Tech Store has issued guidelines that emphasize the use of farm technology to adapt to the new regulations.

In recent years there has been a marked shift in farming as livestock owners have adopted the use of technologies to simplify chores and increase profit. Farmers and companies alike have had to deal with changes in the industry, and more is bound to come.
