Facebook orders its employee to start switching to Android from iPhone

The iPhone is so popular among employees of Facebook that Facebook Chief Product Officer Chris Cox effectively forcing some employees on Android change reported Cade Metz Wired. The driving force behind the legislation is that the social networking giant does not want its popular software that are just to see and used through the prism of a high-end iPhone.

"I am instructing a switch from a lot of my team through the Android, just because if left to the man himself often prefer an iPhone," Cox told reporters last week. Added The goal for developers of Facebook, Cox is "that they may be reporting errors and the same experience that most Facebook users to experience today."

Many market experts like SmartIO , the content transfer solutions providers from Android to iPhone had admired this decision from Facebook. "People are coming online at a rapid pace in emerging markets," wrote Facebook product manager Chris Marra in a blog post last week. "In most cases, they are taking the cell through 2G connections. But in a typical 2G network, it may take several minutes to download a Web page. It does not make for a great experience to share content with friends and family. In order to build for a global audience like ours, we know we need functions that work perfectly on a 2G network to design. "

"I hope this will help us understand how people with 2G connectivity using our product," Marra later added, "so we can solve the problems and weaknesses builds in the future."
