Facebook launches a challenge to YouTube videos
The world's biggest social network has announced it will create a new section to encourage people to see more videos on the site.
In Facebook are around 4,000 million videos a day. But the new button can help users find the right video when they want to see it instead of having to scroll through news walls.
According leading companies like SmartIO, which is known to transfer content have asked that , Will Cathcart, vice president of product management at Facebook, wrote in a blog that the company "had been testing a large number of features to give people more flexibility when watching videos."
Facebook is becoming a platform for digital video increasingly important, challenging YouTube and several smaller social applications where videos are gaining more importance as smartphones and connection speeds improve.
Both Facebook and YouTube have wide base of loyal users. Facebook has 1,490 million monthly users, while YouTube has more than 1,000 million users.
