Express Entry program draw welcomes 3,350 for permanent residence
by Visa Consultant Immigration ExpertThe recent express entry draw, held
on 27th June 2019 has issued 3, 350 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for
Canadian permanent residence to eligible candidates. Being the second draw
taken place in the month of June, what makes it special and significant is the
fact that during this period the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off points
were lowered by three points, which were 462. Being the second in a line of such
draws, with a low CRS score it is believed that the score will dip more in the
coming times to come.
This will make
your dream of permanent residence via the Express entry route a reality, since
higher cutoffs were the reason that many of the prospective applicants have
failed to get their Invitation to Apply, sorting to other alternative measures.
But with these new developments, there are higher chances of Canada Immigration as a
permanent resident. After all, the permanent residency provides you many
attractive, life-saving and long-term benefits such as:
- · Free education in publicly
funded institutions till the age of 18, post which you can study at subsidized
rates.
- · Access to social security perks
like unemployment allowance, disability benefit, pension, tax exemptions,
maternity benefit etc. to assist the needs and requirements of the permanent
resident.
- · Free Universal healthcare also
known as Medicare helps you save on your medical bills and expenses.
- · As a PR holder by staying in
Canada uninterruptedly for 3 out of 5 years opens for you the door of Canadian
citizenship.
- · Also, with Canada immigration as a
PR holder, you will be able to sponsor your eligible family members, spouse or
dependent children.
The Canada Express entry program is
one of the fastest routes to permanent residency in Canada, wherein the visa
applications are processed in 6 months, making it one of the most preferred categories
when one wishes to start living and working in ‘The Great White North’. The express entry program
manages three Federal economic immigration programs such as the Skilled Workers The program, Skilled Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class. If you want
these applications to be processed then you will be required to fulfill the PR
requirements of one of these programs in addition to making an additional
profile for express entry.
Your express
entry profile will be scored out of 1,200 based on factors of age, work
experience, language ability, educational background, and other additional
adaptability factors. After this, your profile can be included in the express
entry pool of applicants, wherein it will be ranked as per the CRS score you
get as per the profile details, certifications and necessary documents you have
attached with your visa application for permanent residency. Highest scorers
are issued ITAs by the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC),
giving them 60 days within which they must complete and submit their visa
application.
