Austin, the capital city of Texas, is known for its lively music scene that is centered on country, rock and blues. The city has earned the nickname of 'Live Music Capital of the World.' Lady Bird Lake - Spanning across 416 acres, the lake features several trails such as Austin Hike and Bike Trail. It is a popular spot for canoeing and kayaking. It is also the site of Auditorium Shores that hosts many events, festivals and concerts.

National World War I Museum and Memorial - Liberty Memorial Museum was built in the honor of men and women who served in World War I and to those who lost their lives. The museum features many artefacts from the war including a 1917 Harley-Davidson Model J motorcycle.      

Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art - The first permanent collection to feature in this art museum was the Bebe and Crosby Kemper Collection which comprised of works by William Wegman, Robert Mapplethorpe and Georgia O'Keeffe. Today it includes an extensive set of works such as paintings, sculptures, installations, photography, media, prints and paper works.

Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art - Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is home to a fine general collection that includes vast variety of East Asian Art. The museum is particularly famous for its diverse selection of works from across the globe.
