This luxury resort in the city of Jaipur in the heart of India offers 14 luxury villas spread over seven acres of land. Against the background of the Aravalli Hills, local architectural style was used to build the villas with a predominant use of lime and sandstone. The long architectural history of the area is reflected in the resort which also has a contemporary touch. The unique nature of the resort is borne out by the fact that each villa is named after an Indian tree and even the colour of the interiors is based on the colour of the tree’s flowers. The resort is a 30-minute drive from Jaipur City Centre and an hour's drive from Jaipur International Airport. Parking at the resort is free.

Each of the luxurious villas features a private lawn while some of them feature a private pool. Moreover, the villas offer ample space and ensure complete privacy and tranquillity for the guests. Although the resort is very close to the beautiful city of Jaipur, which is also known as the ‘Pink City’, it presents a quiet retreat where guests can relax in the lap of nature. The spacious suites and villas are stylish and charming with their spectacular mountain views and domed ceilings.

Guests at the Tree of Life Resort and Spa Jaipur can indulge in many culture-rich activities in the hotel as well as outside. ‘The Chef in You’ is a three-hour culinary tour that involves buying ingredients at the local market and trying your hand at cooking. The other activities include ‘Teach a White’, ‘A Meet with Your Elephant’, trekking the Aravalli Hills, mountain biking, afternoon tea and hot air balloon tours.

All the suites and villas are air-conditioned and feature free Wi-Fi, 40-inch flat-screen TV, a pillow menu and private barbecue facilities. Guests can also avail the services of a bath butler for preparing relaxing bath treatments. An outdoor sunken tub is also available for the guests’ use. The resort also offers an in-house spa where rejuvenating spa treatments such as massages, body treatments, facials and skin treatments are available. The other amenities include laundry and babysitting services and an in-house Ashtam Restaurant that serves local and regional dishes and its bar offers drinks of different types. The restaurant is sleek and occupies a circular space. It has carved stone walls and arched windows that overlook the putting green. Organic veggie patch and local produce is used to create pan-Indian and Western specialities. The bar at Ashtam has a laid-back lounge and features Indian fusion music. It is aptly suitable for sipping a beer and other expertly made cocktails.

The resort also arranges in-villa dining. The other facilities at the resort include spa with Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, gardens, gym, library, yoga pavilion, putting green, free Wi-Fi in rooms, and home theatre system with DVDs and CDs. The boutique hotel is a splash of colour in a desert as the walls are rose-coloured and the pools are aquamarine. Staying at the resort guests can indulge in elephant jaunts and mountain treks and the less-adventurous guests can indulge in poolside lounging and spa pampering.

For visitors to India who wish to explore a wonderful heartland area and experience luxury at its best, the resort is the ideal place.
