The first stage examination, JEE 2016, for admissions to prestigious  ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad & IITs (Indian Institute of Technology). With the strength of about 13 lakh candidates appearing in the year 2015, the coming year will witness more candidates and hence will increase the competition. Through this exam, the qualifying candidates will increase be able to take admissions into 18 IIITs, 31 NITs and 18 GFTIs. The top two lakh rank holders are considered as the eligible candidates to appear in the second stage of entrance test for admissions to IITs and ISM, i.e., JEE Advanced. Now, to gain information regarding all the related topics of JEE 2016 such as eligibility criteria, application procedure and various other related topics of JEE 2016.

JEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidates who were born on or after 01 October 1991 will be considered eligible to fill the application form of JEE 2016 Exam. However, in the case of reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Scheduled Tribe (ST), a relaxation of 05 years in upper limit is given.
2. Candidates who have passed or appearing in the class 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 can apply for JEE 2016.
3. It is necessary for the appearing candidate that he or she should have at least taken 05 subjects in the qualifying examination, i.e., class 12th.
4. There are only 03 attempts given to each candidate applying for the JEE2016 exam.

JEE 2016 Application Form:

The JEE 2016 Application Form can be filled 01 December 2015 and can be filled for about one month. This means that last date to apply is 31 December 2016. Filling the form includes registering online, uploading scanned images of photograph, left thumb impression and signature in JPEG formats and paying the fee. The fee payment can only be done via debit/credit cards as well as through e-challan.
In total, there are 07 steps to apply online and the first step to start with is registering by creating a password. It is important to know that the password must be between 8 and 13 characters, must have a capital letter, a small case letter, a number and a special character.

JEE 2016 Syllabus:

As per the Syllabus of JEE 2016, the questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The conducting body, till now hasn’t declared the detailed syllabus, therefore, candidates can visit our website to check with the  last year’s syllabus of all subjects.


JEE 2016 Exam Pattern:


There are two papers in JEE. Paper I consist of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics which carry questions having equal weightage. Moreover, there are 90 questions carrying 360 marks.
Paper 2 consist of following three parts which have to be completed in a duration of 03 years.
1. Part I - Mathematics
2. Part II - Aptitude Test
3. Part III - Drawing Test

JEE Admit card 2016:

Admit Card of JEE Main 2016 will be tentatively available in the second week of March 2016 on the official web portal of JEE. The admit card will provide important information to the candidate regarding JEE 2016.
JEE 2016 Result:
The result is expected to be announced tentatively in the month of July 2016 and along with the result, All India Ranks will be declared.
