Everything You Need To Know About Water Jet Lancing
High-pressure water jet lancing is frequently used to penetrate and remove stubborn deposits from process equipment. High-pressure cleaning procedures run the risk of exposing personnel to dangers that could result in life-threatening injuries.
What is Jet Lancing?
The procedure for maintaining and cleaning fouled tubes is a high-pressure tube & pipe cleaner. Chemical tube cleaning is necessary to get rid of deposits and obstacles that the liquids that run through the tubing have generated. The chemical tube cleaning procedure can aid in preventing deposits from causing corrosion, which can lead to tube failure.
The old method of cutting has been replaced by this machine, which makes it very simple to cut a variety of materials, including those with high rigidity like steel, rubber, glass, marble, composites, and others. Cutting takes place at a temperature of no more than 80 °C, thus the molecular structure and physical characteristics of the material are not affected.
1. System of Industry Control
It offers a comprehensive environment and helps with information in either Chinese or English. It can start the cut at any location on the work piece and can handle slots and any forms.
2. Pressurisation component
It uses a stainless steel fission plunger pump, which has higher stability and an average duration between malfunctions that is comparable to the oil-pressed kind but with lower equipment costs.
3. A work table
It uses a hanging style.
Advantages Of Jet Lancing
• Suitable for safely cleaning tubes made of any materials, including titanium and brass.
• Eliminating corrosive deposits from inside the tubes and from tube pits prevents corrosion and increases tube life.
• Cleans heat ex changers with straight or U-tubes of any length and diameter.
• By removing the fine layer of organic waste and silt that mechanical cleaning leaves behind and causes rapid refouling, the system extends its optimum working efficiency.
• Eliminates any foreign scale encrustation.
• No chemical discharges or disposal of hazardous trash compromises the environment.
• Custom-made cleaning nozzles provide 360° of inner diameter cleaning without smearing the tube.
• Large main condensers can be quickly cleaned using multiple lance systems with up to 8 (or more) workers.
• Utilising our positive cut-off pressure control systems, we can reduce the amount of radioactive waste.
• Restoring baseline performance and extending fouling rates while being cost-effective; quickly recovering job costs (in exponential fashion).
Modules Of Jet Lancing System
These modules may be present in high-pressure jetting (lancing) systems:
• 420 bar of pressure and 140 lpm of flow, for instance, are typical values for a high-pressure pumping module;
• feed the HP pump module from a stainless steel storage tank;
• a suction module outfitted with a diaphragm pumping system that is appropriate for removing water and slurry from the steam generator during washing operations;
• Filtration unit that uses a series of filters with a 10-micron, 5-micron, and 0.5-micron threshold to capture the sludge that has been removed from the steam generator. For the system to recycle used water in a closed circuit, this module is crucial;
• Buffer tank (settlement tank) to guarantee the water used in the washing system naturally cools, allowing the heavy sludge to settle and control the water flow rate to the filtration module;
• cooling unit to chill the water in the holding tank before it is delivered to the pumping unit and lancing apparatus;
• The lancing system uses hoses and nozzles with high pressure. Fan jets, self-rotating nozzles, flex-lance nozzles, and multi-layer reinforced hoses are just a few examples of the various nozzle, fitting, and hose types that are used.
For a variety of uses, high-pressure tube and pipe cleaners are employed in a wide range of sectors, including textile, pharmaceutical, steel, chemical, refineries, and many others.
