Every Iron Man Replacement Marvel Has Already Introduced

Iron Man is the prime member of the team Avengers. The most popular Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr. has played the role of Tony Stark/Iron Man in all the Iron Man and Avengers films. Tony Stark was first introduced as a superhero to the fans in the movie Iron Man, which was directed by Jon Favreau and released in 2008. Iron Man was a blockbuster and the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Later Tony Stark joined the Avengers and gained a lot of fame and popularity from there.

In the film, Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark sacrificed his life to defeat Thanos along with other superheroes. Now Marvel is going to enter into Phase 4 where the replacement of Iron Man is needed. Still, unfortunately, he is the only Avenger whose replacement is tough to find, according to the fans. However, many superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been introduced already and deserve to be the replacement of Tony Stark/Iron Man.

There is a possibility that Marvel is going to replace all of its six Avengers in the upcoming Phase 4. Chris Evans, who was playing the role of Steve Rogers/Captain America, can be replaced by Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson; Natalie Portman as Jane Foster can be the next Thor; Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova can be next Black Widow; She-Hulk can replace Hulk. However, Iron Man does not have any replacement, which can suit his personality and character. Marvel is still trying their best to find out the best replacement for Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Here are some of the Iron Man replacements Marvel has already introduced in the MCU.

War Machine

War Machine was a title given to James Rhodes, also known as Rhodey was a character played by the actor Terrence Howard in the first part of the Iron Man series. He was the best and loyal friend of Tony Stark. Marvel already had plans to convert Rhodey into a superhero. In the next part of the Iron Man series, which was released in 2010 as Iron Man 2, Tony Stark created a metal armor for Rhodey. Howard was replaced by the actor Don Cheadle to play the role of Rhodey till Avengers: Endgame.

Rhodey was one of the close friends of Tony Stark, and despite their different mindsets, they remained loyal to each other. Now, Rhodey can replace Iron Man because he already knows how to operate Iron Man’s suits as he was very close to Iron Man.

Iron Lad

At the end of the film, Avengers: Endgame, the older Harley Keener was seen in the private funeral of the Iron Man. Nobody recognized that he was the kid from Iron Man 3. During the battle of New York in Iron Man 3, this kid helped Tony Stark in repairing his Iron Man suit. Tony also sent some smart computers and highly advanced gadgets to Harley for his use. So, considering the intelligence of Harley and the way he knew how to use the gadgets, qualifies him for a replacement to the Iron Man in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
