Password requirements

Google account passwords must be at least 8 characters long which should include:

• Upper and lower case letters. Passwords are case sensitive, so "G" is different from "g".

• Numbers

• These symbols: "# $% &‘ () * +, -. / :; <=>? @ [\] ^ {|} ~

• Spaces: You cannot use a space at the beginning or end of your password, but the spaces within the password are fine.

Note that you cannot reuse your previous password and do not use those passwords which are easy to guess, such as "12345678".
