To qualify under this program –
1.
The applicant should be 22
years and above
2.
The applicant should achieve
the CLB (Canadian Language benchmark) of 5 and above for both first and second
language
3.
The applicant should be able to
submit the ECA report (Education Credential Assessment report) from a
recognized evaluation agency.
4.
The applicant should be able to
prove his or her personal net-worth of CAD $600,000, of which CAD $300,000
should be in liquid form.
5.
The investor should invest a
minimum of CAD $250,000.
6.
The business investor should
own at least 33.33% of the business, which should be maintained for a minimum
of 5 years.
7.
The investor should have good
business experience as either a business owner, or a partner or must have experience
as senior manager in any organization
8.
The investor should submit a
business plan along with Expression of Interest, which should be based on a
detailed research carried out in the province on the particular business and
location.
Application Process for NBPNP
Entrepreneur Program
1.
The investor should be ready to
invest and work towards investing in the province either in a new business or
in a running business there.
2.
A profile needs to be generated
in the portal and the Expression of Interest needs to be submitted. Along with
this, you should submit your business report which should be based on the
investor’s research in the province.
3.
The profile will remain in the
portal for 12 months. The profile will have be ranked based on the score. Once
ranked, it will be shortlisted for nomination. The applicant should receive the
ITA (Invitation to Apply) in 12 months’ time. If not, then the profile will be
removed from the portal.
4.
The investor after getting
nominated (he/she will receive the letter of nomination) should enter into a
Business Performance Agreement and should deposit CAD $100,000 into PETL within
60 days of issuance of letter.
5.
After having attained the
nomination, the investor should be able to apply for Permanent Residency with
the IRCC.
However, the best way to work the
investor’s way into New Brunswick is to tie up with top

The investor should be able to uphold all
of the commitments he or she had agreed upon when entering the performance
agreement. The investor and his immediate family will get the Permanent
residency in Canada. After few years of PR in Canada, they are eligible for
citizenship there.
