Erica Mena may have once been the darling of "Love & Hip Hop New York," but now that she's no longer a part of the reality series it seems like her relationships with show creator Mona Scott Young and her former cast mates have only gone sour.

The last time fans saw Erica on the LHHNY season five reunion, she announced her departure from the VH1 reality series and ended her solo reunion interview all smiles while sharing plenty of hugs and even a few tears with the show's executive producer. But now, things have definitely changed between the reality star and Mona.

Erica recently chatted with Global Grind and updated fans on where she stands with the LHHNY team now and apparently any relationship she once had with Mona and her LHHNY family before does not exist anymore.

"I mean there really isn't no relationship, you know?" Erica said when asked where she and Mona's relationship stands today.

Although Erica has always been open about her feelings when it came down to the way she was edited on LHHNY, one of the reasons her relationships with the production team may have gone bad is because they ended up giving her wedding special idea to former cast mates Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris.

"No, they came to me for the wedding. The wedding special was ours. And then we turned it down, so Yandy (Smith) got it...process of elimination. That whole getting married live, having the fans pick the cake, all that stuff... That was my idea," she said, adding that she turned it down because they didn't want their wedding to be taken as a joke. "I didn't want it to be a s**t show. Marriage is a serious thing."

"We wanted it to be very sentimental. We wanted it done very tasteful and meaningful at the same time. We wanted to involve the viewers, because people have seen me go through so much turmoil and drama and heartbreak. I've been through so much and I can't cheat myself anymore. I've done that for four years being on that show."

Looking back on everything now, Erica says if she could do it all over again she still would have joined the LHHNY cast, but she would have made a few changes to her contract and how she allowed producers to portray her.

"I would put in my contract that you cannot edit out why the f*ck I wild out. I feel like they always just show me walking in and then I'm going crazy. The whole story is never depicted," she said. "It's so cliché...but it's real. Because you're like 'wait a minute, I know I said that, but I said that because..."

If Erica was to land her own reality show though, she says she'd give fans a much more authentic version of herself.

"Hopefully, if I could ever get my own reality show where there aren't all these producers in one room trying to f*ck up my life everyday. If we could take that equation out of reality television, then we could have some reality and you guys could really know what's up," she said.

Although things aren't as good as they used to be between Erica and her former LHHNY family, she does still have high hopes for the franchise, especially now that Remy Ma is joining the cast.

"I think there's a little bit of hope for the Love & Hip-Hop the franchise now that Remy's part of it, and Papoose. She's going to be the reason why Love & Hip-Hop: New York is actually still on the air," she said. "There's just so much depth and knowledge and real to her that as a woman, especially coming from where we come from [The Bronx], you get comfort in knowing she's just as rough as I am, but defeated all the odds. Even though she was put in a situation where she was incarcerated, and she became a much person. If I were to give her any advice though, I would tell her to make sure that nobody behind the scenes gets in between her and her marriage."
