Highly affluent and bestir destination, Prague is now luring more and more travelers than ever before. But it’s an unfaded reality too that this rise is deep rooted in the past resilient dating back to more than 1,100 years; the city has combated copious, demolitions , fires ,floods, invasions and more . Surviving through this notoriety and diligence that made this Czech capital quite breathtaking. Today Prague is known for drawing several tourists to its multi storied churches, pent lanes and appalling castles situated at hilltops and more exhibiting the picturesque of modern fairy tale. 

As a first time traveler I choose mellowing winters to be the best time to visit Prague; albeit short stayed the season mesmerized me with its grey days and long chills. Tourists are often lured by the bountiful traditions and endless ways to warm up; that never blanch the spirit of the joyous celebrations. Travelers, who know when to visit Prague, can easily relate why it is often referred as a different city marked beautifully as each season. Bouquet of celebrations in conjunction with autumn alacrity, St Nicholas's Eve street party, musical marvels and Pražské jaro crowns you best time to visit Prague.

Celebrations can awe your trip-


1- Spring seasons blooming with chestnut trees and lilacs witness runners swarming off to Stromovka Park for Prague International Marathon’s practice sessions.

2- Visitors choosing springs as the best time to visit Prague won’t ever want to miss out on Prague Spring Festival fortuning warm weather, as it has since decades.

3- Perplexed wanderers, often when worried about when to visit Prague can try paying a visit in the warm summers and indulge in the free flowing music events like; Tanec Praha modern dance and hip United Islands shows. I have once been lucky to grab onto an invitation to blueberry plucking and stay in a heritage chata(cottage) as well.

4- Opera and balls beaus book their tickets and rooms far before autumn as with them returns the city autumn and burčák.

6- Dolorous though cold winters can be ; it poses its own charm :gorgeous steeple that houses above the Staré Město, Old Town ,are paramount to any other snow sight.

7- The city might have curdled up, intoxicating, livid and melancholy place; but bustling and enhancting Christmas are beyond reach.   

8- And the day dawns that’s manifested by surrender at the fishmongers; signifying cultural supper rejoice music and fireworks that engulfs the merry making crowd on the New Year’s Eve at the same square.
