Travelling in an Indian train has to be done if you seek to relish a wholesome experience of touring through India. Trains are economical, convenient, comfortable and with the implementation of modern techniques, today, they are safer.



It is a well known fact that India majorly survives on trains. The large network of trains is like the bloodlines of the country that keep the country in motion. Not just the trains are the mere means of getting around the country, they are also the source of livelihood of thousands. In fact, records state that the Indian Railways is one of the world's largest employers with 13.36 Lakh gazetted and non-gazetted workers. However, that is just one aspect of Indian Railways, and one of the various reasons, why the entity is so important to the nation.



With a number of express trains and trains that favor tourism in the country running swiftly on different tracks throughout the country, traveling in trains is an experience of a lifetime. It is an adventure to embark, plus, a perfect way to get to know the uncut and true essence of India, which lives in its locals, far off places, rustic villages, and tranquil countrysides. One of the most famous train journeys in India that is fun when taken is the memorable ride in Bhopal to Mumbai train. There are multiple trains between the two cities to serve the purpose. Most of the trains are the typical Indian trains with different classes. If you travel in the Sleeper Class you are sure to find crowd; there are often a time when you will hear the cries of the Chaiwalas and the hawkers selling cheap electronics, books, magazines, chips, etc. Anyone can come and go anytime, plus, it is very likely that you will spend the entire journey sitting as there will be not enough space for anyone to sleep. However, if you are of the adventurous kind, it is something that you have to try. Besides, there will be enough allures that will make the journey a memorable one.



Travelling in a train in India is an experience of a lifetime and it is a must if you have the craving for the wholesome touring experience of the country as you traverse through its tourist destinations, states, cities, towns, and villages. Of course, for the a common middle class traveler, there is no other better way to travel the long distance apart from the trains, but recently, the trend of travelling in Indian trains has gotten very popular amongst the foreign tourists. Evidently, compared to the flights, trains are less comfortable and slow, still at a satisfactory level, travelling in a train is convenient. Besides, Indian trains have come long miles in the past few decades and today train journeys are no longer unhygienic or less safe. In fact, due to the apt implementation of modernization, the entire experience of journeying in a train is more systematized and favorable to public convenience, safety, and comfort. And that's not it, over the entire course of the development of Indian Railways there is a very minimal rise in the train ticket fare, which, when compared with the steep hike in flight fares seems almost negligible.
