National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA) for admission into B.Arch. courses offered by various colleges and institutions in India.  The Council of Architecture is a statutory body established under the Architects Act, 1972 (legislated by the Indian Parliament) to lay down and supervise the principles required to be maintained by the Architectural institutions for imparting accepted architectural qualifications in India.

The NATA Eligibility criteria consist of 4 segments i.e., age, qualifications, subjects and minimum marks required. The aspiring candidate has to fulfil the eligibility criteria in all the four segments in order to sit for the exam. NATA eligibility criteria are formulated by CoA, New Delhi.
