Electric Blue Jack Dempsey
There is a naturally occurring color morph of the Jack Dempsey Cichlid called the Electric Blue Jack Dempsey, Rocio octofasciata cf. A beautiful Cichlid is among the most popular freshwater aquarium fish.
Electric Blue Jack Dempseys are relatively small compared to natural Jack Dempseys. Electric Blue Jack Dempseys should be kept in aquariums of at least 190 litres, although larger aquariums are preferable. If you plan to keep live plants with Jack Dempseys in your aquarium, choose plants that are naturally rooted into rocks or driftwood, or choose thick-leaved plants to avoid them moving around.
