EasyRA – A Fully Automated Chemistry Analyzer for Quick Sample Analysis

by Jeremy Linder Lab Equipment Supplier
The Easy RA chemistry analyzer is quickly operational and analyzes stat samples in less than 8 minutes, allowing laboratories to save valuable time.

Automated chemistry analyzers are a reliable and economical choice for modern laboratories. Ideal for use in small as well high-volume laboratories and research settings, these advanced chemistry analyzers are invaluable tool for testing electrolytes, enzymes and proteins in samples of serum, plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and other body fluids. Medica’s EasyRA is a fully automated clinical chemistry analyzer, specially designed to meet the on-site testing needs of small to medium-size medical laboratories.

This bench-top analyzer model offers a maximum throughput of 150 per hour (>300 with integrated ISE), 24 sample positions and 24 reagents onboard. Unlike barcodes, the new wireless RFID technology in this random access device located in each wedge label, contains all reagent information, alerts the user to calibration intervals, and allows for automatic usage tracking and reagent inventory management. It eliminates the need to manually program reagents. The process of stat sample analysis can be done in less than 8 minutes. This feature allows technicians to save valuable time programming the next work list while another work list is currently running, or check reagent and corvette inventories to prepare for the next run.

The EasyRA chemistry analyzer features a simple, intuitive user interface (along with a four color-coded icons) that guides the technicians through all important analyzer functions and allows easy tracking of all routine maintenance activities. Therefore, only minimal training is needed to operate the device. User-friendly displays clearly signal the progress of a run and allow changes to be made easily. In addition, modular design makes the analyzer simple to maintain, ensuring maximum uptime.

The chemistry system reduces data entry errors by enabling automated download of QC values, calibration values and reagent parameters. Its unique, slide-out drawer makes maintenance quick and easy. It offers unprecedented access to all replaceable components. Replacement procedures do not require special adjustments and can be easily performed by operators. Other features of EasyRA chemistry analyzer include –
