by Kunal Joshi content writing

Modern life is tough, make no bones about it! The sheer stress of meeting all our social, professional and other commitments/engagements can sometimes be quite daunting indeed. These days, people find it hard to make time for their own families and most importantly, for their own health and wellness related requirements. They are so engaged in working round the clock and taking care of other commitments, that they do not have time to attend to their health needs. There is often no time to exercise or walk around while people do not have time to cook healthy meals most of the time as well. Many people indulge in meals from outside and end up consuming unhealthy and junk food in large quantities as well. This will naturally lead to a whole host of health issues down the line including high cholesterol, heart ailments, blood pressure, obesity and more.

If you wish to arrest the slide, what you should aim for is easy healthy meals that you can cook in quick time. These should be meals that are rich in helpful nutrients and will give you the energy you need to get through the day with aplomb. They should not be cumbersome to prepare and should take lesser time as well. Finding the best healthy meals recipes is the need of the hour.

You can consider healthy breakfast meals as a starting point. This is because breakfast is the most important meal of the day and gives you all the calories and energy you need to tackle your daily tasks with aplomb. One recipe worth considering is healthy Broccoli Paratha. Preparation time is only half an hour with overall cooking time of an hour. You will require approximately 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour along with a tablespoon of all-purpose flour and half of broccoli. You will need half an onion, a clove of garlic and two green chilies along with turmeric powder and garam masala. Carom seeds or Ajwain is required by approximately ½ tablespoon and salt as per your taste. Nutralite Classic, a healthy offering, is also required for this recipe.

You have to wash the broccoli and cut it into nice little florets, boil water and the same while adding salt at the same time. Grind them into a paste, adding garam masala, green chilies, garlic and turmeric powder, putting all-purpose flour and whole wheat into the mixing bowl. Add onions, paste, carom seeds and salt as per your taste. Knead with water and leave the dough for a while before making smaller balls and flattening them with the belan. Put the Paratha on a griddle, spreading Nutralite on it and cooking until both sides turn brown or golden. Serve your Paratha with curd/pickle.
