Due to this duplex stainless steel flanges are one of the lower costing flanges available. Duplex stainless steel flanges are subject to incredible corrosion resistance levels and also have very high mechanical strength. Duplex SS flanges also have proven toughness and ductility. They are tougher than ferritic grades.
