Beware of Rumors Created by Unscrupulous Consultants

My name is Vougnh D’souza and I am very proud of the decision I made last year to get admission in David Tvildiani Medical University, Georgia.

I am from Mumbai. In 2016, I attended a seminar in Dadar, in July, and met Dr. Irina who was promoting DTMU. I instantly felt this was the right place for me.

Just like everybody else, I had started my research about the University online and read a lot of negative stuff about DTMU. A lot of people were spreading the news that it is not an MCI approved university, that it is a private university and hence useless, and that none of the graduates had ever passed MCI etc.

Now that I have successfully passed my first year and have some breathing space,

let me tell you the truth about DTMU:

DTMU is the top medical University in Georgia.Our campus is world class, with Indian meals, snack counter, the internet, library, 24-hour security, laundry, sports facilities, all within the compound.

All the graduates from DTMU have passed MCI in the first attempt. Most other Georgian universities cannot claim the same. In fact most other universities don’t even have a graduate doctor yet. This is one fact that the consultants never bring your attention to, and it is the most important point to know.

All our professors and the management staff are a very efficient team. Our Campus is a home away from home. In each class, we are 15-20 students, and in practical’s we are a batch of 7-8, unlike universities in Caribbean islands, which have 900 students in a lecture.

A syllabus is USMLE based. Teachers are highly qualified, very cooperative and kind.

This University has not been formed to generate business from Indian students. It is a University founded by an academician, cardiologist David Tvildiani in 1985. This is the first University in Georgia that gave an opportunity to Georgian students to get qualified enough to practice in America.

I was convinced by an agent, Moksh16 to go to the Caribbean. Thank God I didn’t listen to them. I traveled to Pune and met Dr. Irina and she guided me through entire admission process, she even flew with us to Tbilisi and was constantly there for 3 month until we have adjusted to the place, and got our permanent residency.

My dear friends, Please beware of all the negative information spreading online.

Everybody is promoting their own interests. Unscrupulous agents spread rumors about good universities to promote low-quality colleges.
