●旧「DSTTi Kernel Ver1.17」をベースにするので、アップデート後はいくつかの最新タイトルが動作不可になります
●ニンテンドー3DSでマジコンを動作させた場合、3DS本体故障時に修理サービスに対応してもらえなくなる可能性があります
上記の点を踏まえて個人的に一言。
専用マジコンを用意せず、3DS、最新ファームウェア1.4.2 でも動作するマジコン3DSを手軽に作れるのは確かに魅力的ですが、パッチの動作は不安定で、リスクも高いです。導入後、ただ3DSでも動くようになった というだけであり、動いていた最新タイトル群は起動不可能、アップデート中エラーが出た時点でDSTTi はゴミになるので、導入は非推奨です。
それでも良いという方のみ、以下の手順を参考にしてください。
１・DSTTi 3DS Firmware Update 1.1.0-1 をダウンロード後、解凍します。
２・続いてベースとなる公式DSTTi Kernel Ver1.17 をダウンロード後、解凍します。

３・それぞれ解凍して出てきたファイルをすべてmicroSDのルートディレクトリに上書きコピーします。最終ルート配置は以下のようになります。
* 「NDS」フォルダのみ自分で作成・中には「.nds」のDSROMを配置
４・DSi本体に装着し、メニューより「TTi3DSUPGRADE.nds」を起動。
５・XとYを同時押しでアップデート開始。パッチ処理が実行されます。100％完了するまでそのまま放置。
６DSTTi が3DSでも動く!!
DSTTi がニンテンドー3DSにも対応します。 また最新ファームウェアバージョンでDSTTiが起動可能になります。ただしパッチは本当に不安定。現状正しい手順で行っても予期せぬ不具合で、 DSTTi をゴミにしてしまう可能性が常にあります。（DSi 本体までは故障しないようですが、保障はできません）
参考までに導入失敗時の写真も載せておきます。本体に何もしなくても、アップデートのパーセンテージが途中で止まりフリーズ。こうなってはもう電 源を強制的に切るしかありません。またこうなった時点でDSTTi は２度とDS/DSi/3DS 本体で認識しなくなります。注意してください。
