Drones - A New Way to Take Images of Ground From The Sky

Archeologists nowadays are happy with the use of drones as these drones have enabled them to take the thermal imagery of the ground from the sky.  In older times these archeologists spend almost their entire career in digging holes to discover the ancient societies and their cultures.  By utilizing these drones, the archeologist can do the condition assessment of land, their progress monitoring, documentation of information, Reconstruction and at last the Artifact conservation.

The thermal temperature of landscape keeps changing gradually as over the time of day and night it heats ups and cool downs at a different percentage. For example-if one were to take a shot at daytime and night time then due to thermal inertia, both the pictures will differ a lot. Those temperature changes are not visible to the human eye but the thermal cameras are able to detect the difference and they easily record and pass the gathered information. Drones can fly for approximately 15 minutes, covering a large portion of land than a balloon can do. Also, they are cheaper and require less detailing. That’s why drones are highly in use. The thermal camera mounted on these drones capture accurate thermal images and reveals the social and political value of the land.
