Dr. Shivani Sachdev: The doctor who blessed us with a baby

I am here to express my sincere regards for Dr. Shivani Gour, the doctor who blessed us with a baby boy. I introduce myself as Santanu Kundu with my wife Sheila Kundu. Dr. Shivani Sachdev is a very reputed IVF specialist from Delhi who is known for the success rate of her deliveries. We are able to hold an angle in our hands right now thanks to the doctor. I am going to share my wonderful journey with the doctor which culminated when we were finally blessed with parenthood.

Our search for a good doctor and the bad encounters

My wife is anemic and suffers from heavy bleeding during her menstruations. So, when she tested positive with a home test kit, we decided to consult a doctor. We went to several doctors and did innumerable tests but nobody gave us any strong suggestions as to whether we can avoid normal delivery. We were also afraid to speak to our doctors as most of them were quite rude. Finally, we searched the internet for obstetrician and the name of Dr Shivani Sachdev Gour popped up. 

Treatment and delivery

I was extremely anxious for my wife's delivery as she was 5 months into her pregnancy. The doctor studied the reports carefully and gave some medications to my wife. What is striking about the doctor is her calmness. She also told me not to be overly tensed as it would impact my wife's health. After a few days, we went back to her with the reports. Dr. Shivani reviews our results and suggested we go for C section surgery, a suggestion to which we agreed. My wife had an uncomplicated delivery and she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Even after the surgery, Dr. Shivani was available 24X7 for clarifying our doubts.

Dr. Gour is one of the most eminent names in her profession. She never hands any critical procedures to her juniors. She is a very loving doctor and ethically strong. We are very grateful to her for being with us and bringing magic in our lives.
