Doogee HomTom HT6, 9.9 mm thick and 6250 mAh battery
Doogee has unveiled its HomTom HT6, a smartphone that has the distinction of taking a battery of 6250 mAh in a chassis only 9.9 millimeters thick.
In China, records are almost a national sport in the smartphone market. Regularly seen Vivo and Oppo jostling for who will be able to design the thinnest smartphone, and Doogee firm decided to attack another interesting area: autonomy. The manufacturer has indeed formalized the Doogee HomTom HT6, a smartphone that has a battery of 6250 mAh. And this unconventional ability earned him the honor of being the new record holder in the matter. Previously, we saw various smartphones to acquire larger batteries such as Gionee Marathon M3 with 5000 mAh or Elephone P5000 with 5350 mAh, but never on this scale.
Most impressive is that Doogee has managed to retain a thickness entirely conventional for mobile 9.9 mm. To give an idea, this is about the thickness of OnePlus 2 or LG G4. The manufacturer has not done things by half since it also offers fast charging, with the integration of technology Pump Express Plus from MediaTek, which obviously can fill the battery to 75% within 30 minutes. For the rest, Doogee HomTom HT6 has a 5.5 inch screen at 720p, a processor MediaTek MT6735, a back camera of 15 megapixel front cameras or a sensor of 5 megapixels. And besides, it will be marketed under Android 5.1 Lollipop.
