Dominica’s
passport by investment lets the investor travel
across the globe to more than 150 countries visa-free for travel, tourism or

full citizenship rights. The country provides tax regimes for their new
citizens such that the investors have to pay no tax on the wealth they

The investor who intends to invest in
Dominica will have to have an outstanding character with no criminal records.
The investor will have to present a record to prove the same. The investor will
have to have excellent health and a certificate to prove the same. The investor
needs to have sound knowledge of English language. There are countries that
provide Permanent Residency for its
investors however, the Caribbean countries offers only citizenship programs.
The investor to qualify for the program
will be making a donation into Economic diversification Fund of the Government
or in any of the approved Real Estate of the country. If a single person is
applying for the program, then the investor will have to make a contribution of
USD $100,000 which is non-refundable into the Government Fund. If the applicant
and spouse are applying, then they will have to make a joint contribution of
USD $175,000. If 3 dependents under the age of 30 are applying along with the
investor and spouse, then they will have to make a joint contribution of USD
$200,000.
If the investor intends to invest in a Real
Estate property that can fetch a return on Investment, then the applicant will
have to make a contribution which is minimum of USD $200,000. Such a property
should be pre-approved by the Dominican Government. The investor should
maintain the investment for at least 3 years of time. However, if the investor
maintains the property for 5 years, then the property qualifies to be used by
any next investor too.
