It was a woman who invented the dishwasher in the 18^th century. She was a wealthy woman who entertained often and wanted something that washed the dishes faster than her servants. So she made different wired compartments to fit plates ,cups or saucers .A wheel lay flat within a copper boiler and the compartments were placed inside it .A motor was placed which turned and soapy water would flow down on the dishes. Her invention worked, and there were a lot more patents registered after her, we now have a modernized and refined version of dishwasher. Only a few restaurants and hotels were interested in dishwashers formerly, it was only after 1950 that they became a household need.

This is integrated completely with your kitchen cabinets and matches their design.

5. Semi Integrated Dishwasher

This fits perfectly under the bench top where there is no gap, however it does not integrate completely and the front is different from your kitchen cabinets.

6. Portable Dishwasher which is for Countertop and Bench top

This type of dishwasher helps when you stay in a rental property and it does not come with a dishwasher .It can be placed on counter tops or bench tops, their only drawback is their capacity is too low.

Dishwashers are available in various sizes, shapes, colours and materials. Generally people choose stainless steel material as it has a longer life span. They also come in different colors but people tend to use white. Black when it matches the color design. They can also be customized according to the kitchen cabinets.
