This is because all mobile phones have different and unique screen layouts.  The market of iPhone and android phones is so vast that it becomes very difficult and complicated to cater only these types of mobile phones; let alone all other screen types. This disparity or conflict between screen layouts and mobile phones of different types creates complications in mobile applications development.

·         You cannot please everyone:

Although the infinite number of applications is being designed for the mobile phones every day, there are the concerns of people which still remain unaddressed. The customers are still left out with some specific applications of their type. A particular app that looks and works wonderfully level on one platform might not work well on the other platform and hence the conflict and difference of opinion for the one particular app arises.

·         Lack of flexibility:

Each platform is bound to provide some flexibilities and facilities for the users. However when designing an application, such flexibility is commonly lost. The reason for this loss is that each platform provides with some particular set of flexibilities for the consumer. Since the app developer is aiming to design an app that matches and works with all platforms, he is at risk of losing the flexibility area provided by the platform itself.

·         Integrating different platforms:

While designing an app it is also a complication to consider all features and factors for each platform. Otherwise the app will be limited and restricted to run on one particular platform only. The amenities of each platform need to be taken into consideration before designing any app because the job market for that particular app will decrease. The opportunities for growth for the app are greatly at risk without integration of all platforms.

·         Coping with different tools and languages:

A wide array of languages and tools are available for app designing and development. Some of the commonly used tools are Unity, Ramp, PhoneGap, Grapple, Open Plug, Rhomobile and titanium etc. These tools become a hurdle in the development criteria of the app. This is because each tool corresponds to a different set of platforms. The differences and distinguishes among the different types of platforms become difficult to fight off.
