Alloy Wheel Repair

Backside bends

Backside bend is one of the common car wheel problems. This problem is generally caused by curb, potholes & road hazard. The bends are mostly spotted in the outer lip inner lip, face or spokes of the alloy wheel. Experts properly inspect the condition of the wheel and based on that they start the repairing process. After repairing, experts can return the alloy wheel to its own shape.

Curb damage

After backside bend, curb damage is another common problem that is faced by most of the car-owners in London. The leading causes of curb damage are road debris, curb rash, or other outside elements. The damage can be mostly found on the spokes, lip, and face of the wheel. According to the wheel repair expert, one of the best ways to solve the curb damage is a prime coating. The prime coating helps to bring back the original look of the wheel.

Corrosion

Corrosion generally occurs due to tire sealants, chemicals, brake dust, etc. These elements can either be found on the roadside or come from the car itself. Corrosion damage is quite similar to the curb damage. So, the repairing process is also the same. Just like curb damage, corrosion can be repaired by prime coating and clear coating technique.

Gouges

Wheel gouge occurs when a car is driven on a rocky road or off-road. It can be formed when it is driven close to curb. The hardy curb mostly pushes alloy steel. Apart from that, wheel gauges are also caused by road debris and hazardous materials. This damage is repaired by some complicated processes. The welding process or CNC machining is mostly used to repair wheel gouge and bring back the original shape of the wheel.

Wheel cracks

Last but not least, wheel crack is also common. It can be classified into 2 types: major and minor cracks. Both cracks are caused by sudden accidents, road particles, stones, etc. Like wheel gouges repairing, wheel cracks are also repaired by welding or CNC machining processes.

If your car suffering from Backside bends, curb damage, corrosion, gouges and wheel cracks then repair them by the professionals as soon as possible.
