Different Types Of Saws And Their Uses

of the oldest forms of tools that are used by people across the world. It is
one of the cutting tools that are required in a large number of contexts. Saws
have been used man from the most ancient times and are considered to be one of
the primitive cutting tools used by man. This is a tool that is used in
different contexts and has been used for the purpose of cutting various forms
of things. Quintessentially we understand that these saws come in a large
number of designs. Some common forms are cold
saws with TCT saw blades, hand saws, power saws etc.
Let us take a
look at some of the saw types that have been used in the recent times.
Hand Saws - As the name will suggest this is a
form of saw that is controlled and used by man on a manual basis. Some common
forms of such hand saws are back saws, Bow saw, coping saw, crosscut saw, fret
saw, hacksaw, Japanese saw, keyhole saw, and pruning saw, rip cut saw, veneer
saw and wallboard saw. All these saws are used in different connects where the
process if carried out and also controlled in a maul manner.
Power Saw - As yet again the name will suggest
these are saws that are controlled and are maneuvered with the help of power.
This power could come in the form of electricity or even through batteries.
Generally these saws have a much more powerful impact and can be used for
cutting much more tough material and surfaces. These types of saws are also
used for the purpose of processing a larger volume of elements and items. Some
of the common type of such power saws are stationary saw band, portable band
saw, chain saw, chop saw, circular saw, compound miter saw, flooring saw, jig
saw, miter saw, radial arm saw, reciprocating saw, rotary saw.
Uses – These saws can be used for cutting a
large number of different elements such as wood, stone and even metal. Out of
these the hand saw types are used for cutting wood which is a much softer
element as compared to metal and harder rocks. In the latter cases the power
saws of various forms are used as required for the case.
There are
numerous companies that are selling such saws from where you can avail quality
tools. Additionally there are many companies that also happen to lease out
these tools as per requirement.
