Different types of doors for different uses

Doors are installed to every home or commercial buildings. They provide protection to the dwellers and prevent the strangers from entering into the house or any commercial buildings. A door is usually made of wood or plastic. Garage doors are made of different types of metals. The door should be installed firmly using proper tools and handles so that they remain intact for a long time. The material used for constructing doors should be solid so that it does not get deteriorated for many years.

External doors

External doors are constructed to the main entrance of the building. These doors should be made of solid materials and should be aesthetic. The contractor constructs such doors using solid materials such as timber, hardwood, softwood, etc. Different patterns of doors are constructed such as pre-hung doors, external oak doors, composite doors, external French doors, external oak doors etc. Different types of external doors are constructed such as pre-glazed, solid paneled, unglazed, external oak sidelights. The grand entrance doors include front doors with sidelights, double front doors with sidelights etc. The doors comprise of sidelights because the strong rays of the sun should not penetrate from the door. Most of them comprise of two doors because they can be latched easily and can be opened easily. The bespoke hardwood doors are single pre-hung doors that can be usually pre-hung to 2.7m height.  Such doors are usually installed to offices. The composite doors are made of various types of materials and are glazed with material such as oak or mixed components. The composite doors are further divided into LPD doors, XL joinery, rockdoor composite doors etc.

Internal doors

The internal doors are installed to the other rooms of the home or commercial building. For homes, they are installed for bedroom, bathroom, kitchen etc.  Such doors are usually pre-finished, or primed. Paint or varnish is applied to the doors after installation. Different designs of such classic veneers are applied such as oak, walnut, or they are primed with white finishes. The sliding internal doors can be easily installed and opened. They are used as room-dividers. They can be easily folded, slid, or set right back. The different types of internal doors are solid folding sliding doors, while folding doors, glazed folding siding doors etc.

Purposes of white doors

The internal white doors are used in places that are warm, so that the strong rays of the sun do not penetrate. They add aesthetic look to the rooms.
