Both tampons and pads are used and appreciated highly among today’s generation. These two women products have pros and cons in using. Some women find pads comfortable while others prefer tampons. You cannot entirely mention one the perfect and another one imperfect. So, this article will talk about both the tampons and pads.

Pads are used for a long time and these are accepted among women. Tampons may not be that familiar among people as pads are. However, tampons are considered more comfortable in use compared to sanitary pads. 

These are easy to use, though they seem a bit intimidating while wearing. Once you know the right way of using tampons, you will know the convenience of using them.

Wearing tampons means inserting them into your body, whereas, pads are not like that. You don’t have to insert them inside and can change them at any time when you see it is full. 

In that case, you may not know when to change your tampon. Therefore, you should change the worn tampon every 4-6 hours for your safety.

Tampons usually cause the potential risk of TTS, whereas, you will find no severe risk of using pads. However, pads can also be unhealthy if you wear them for more than 12 hours.

Tampons might not be environmentally friendly. However, organic tampons are now using by most women, which are regarded as the Best Organic Product. Pads have reusable options found in the researches recently.

You cannot think about swimming, surfing, or dealing with water on your periods wearing sanitary pads. However, tampons are convenient in this factor. You can swim or have other watery stuff wearing tampons and that won’t bother you doing that. There is no risk of leakage with wearing tampons.

Most athletic women or active women prefer wearing tampons instead of pads. Pads are easily displaceable whereas, tampons remain the right place from the time you insert them to change them. So, you don’t have to worry about replacing the place or any potential leakage.

Pads usually show up throughout your underwear that is embarrassing. As tampons are inserted inside, they are not visible and you can wear any outfit. You don’t have to worry about staining with tampons, as well.
